A while ago I required service on my Cuckoo clock. After contacting various services with no success for my request I wont to Clockworks in Bayswater and the serviceman there was only too happy to look at my issue and fixed it within 15 minutes. What a priviledge I had to meet Philip from Clockworks. An absolute profesional craftsman who was able to repair our fith generation calander clock of the 18th century and brought it back to it's full glory. Only an inopperative ornament in our house for a long period of time after I had this clock by numerous "clock repairers " in more than one coutry, who failed miserbly. Thank you Philip for the effort you put in to this precious family inheritance piece which makes it possible for me to pass it on to the next genration in our Malan family. I took my Granddaughter Clock to 2 people, (one in the UK and another in Kalamunda) for repair and overhaul. They each took a lot of money off me, and I mean alot of money!! It has never worked properly since I got it back and now it has suddenly stopped.
So, yesterday, I took it to Philip at Clockworks who saw me immediately. He spent over an hour on it and it now performs beautifully. He did not charge me!!! His workplace is so clean, tidy and organised, in fact spotless. I'm so sorry I didn't find out about him earlier!!
